The annual financial statements show how a company’s financial position and performance have developed over the past financial year. The balance sheet, income statement, cash flow statement, notes to the accounts and management report all provide important information.
However, a clear picture cannot be gained by looking at net profit or individual financial indicators alone. It is only by considering the different components together that you can understand how the company’s assets, financing and financial performance have developed.
